Sold Out!
The Detroit Symphony Orchestra performed its first subscription concert on December 19, 1887, at the Detroit Opera House. In 1919, the orchestra had outgrown its humble beginnings and Orchestra Hall, designed by renowned theater architect C. Howard Crane, was opened. The Hall has endured war, economic strife, vacancy, and even the threat of demolition, but was saved by tireless advocates and renovated to its former glory and beyond. After over 100 years, the DSO continues to offer innovative and rich musical programming to Detroit and the world.
The building has elevators and barrier-free restrooms.
