SOLD OUT
Join us for a delightful evening of history and theater at the Historic Players Playhouse!
The Players was founded in 1911, a group of gentleman actors who performed one and three act plays in the Shakespearean tradition. The Players Playhouse was constructed in 1925 in the Florentine Renaissance style and features gargoyles designed by famed sculptor Corrado Parducci and six art deco murals on tapestry painted by Paul Honore and hung in the Great Hall.
The evening will include a tour at 6:30 PM and a performance of The Man from Earth at 8:00 PM sharp; a drama, which is rare for The Players.
Dress code is business attire to formal. The building is not ADA accessible; most of what we will see is on the ground floor but there are steps leading to the theater. There are complimentary soft drinks and draft beer in the lobby. Guests may bring picnic style snacks and wine.
Members, please log in; discount will be reflected at checkout. $60 general public, $50 members.
