A brand new Behind the Scenes series, taking you society to society...from DHS to the historical societies of metro-Detroit.
This quarter we'll begin at the Dearborn Historical Museum, dedicated in 1950 during an exuberant celebration known as the Dearborn Cavalcade.
We'll visit three of Dearborn's historic buildings to learn the history of Detroit's neighbor to the west, from its beginning as the home of the Detroit Arsenal, then farming community, through its economic and industrial growth into the diverse and populus city of today.
