Join us at the Detroit Historical Museum to take a trip down memory lane and rediscover leisure on the lakes. From the late 19th to mid 20th century, communities of recreation and leisure dotted our inland seas.
From Lake Michigan to the Detroit River, residents of the Detroit region made their way to small campgrounds and world-renowned resorts to take make memories that continue to shape our collective history. Moderated by Manager of Education and Public Programs, Kimmie Dobos-Wolfe.
