The Course of History Golf Classic returns to the Country Club of Detroit on Monday, September 18th. We will start the day with coffee and our Bloody Mary Bar at the warm up facilities, before heading out for an enjoyable round one of Michigan’s most exclusive courses. After your round, stay and join us for dinner and cocktails on the clubhouse lawn. Once again, we expect ideal pace-of-play and an enjoyable event that benefits the Detroit Historical Society.

Dress Code: Soft spikes only. Men: Golf slacks or Bermuda shorts with a tucked-in collared shirt is proper Club attire. Denim, jeans, gym shorts and cargo shorts are not permitted on the course. Women: may wear sleeveless shirts if they have a collar. Skirts are permitted in good taste.
Format: Scramble with a shotgun start
Time Frame:
11 a.m. Warm up facilities open with Bloody Mary Bar and coffee available. Players will be able to customize a boxed lunch to take on the course or to enjoy during the warm up.
12:30 p.m. Shotgun start. Beer, High Noon, Gatorade, water and assorted snacks will be available on the course. There will be closest to the pin and long drive contests during the round.
5:30 p.m. Strolling dinner and awards ceremony on main terrace/bowling green.
