Other dates...

6:30 PM  –  8:00 PM

Presented by Joel Stone, DHS Curator Emeritus, this talk explores how 17th-century European explorers—especially the French—mapped North America and the Great Lakes. Drawing on both European and Native American knowledge, these maps reveal a growing understanding of the region and the people who helped shape it.

Part of the Detroit Historical Society Quad Anniversary Lecture Series.

The museum will be open 5-8pm with free admission.
