Family Program: Shopping for Shabbat

Outfit the dinner table before sunset!  Explore In the Neighborhood: Everyday Life on Hastings Street, Jewish Historical Society of Michigan’s exhibition located in the Robert and Mary Ann Bury Community Gallery (2^nd floor), to find all of the supplies needed for Shabbat dinner.  Hurry to the Streets of Old Detroit to make your own Shabbat candles.  Then, visit the neighborhood candy store to buy a special Kosher treat.  Drop in for fun for all ages and abilities.   

Free with museum admission.
