Join us for this year’s MLK Jr. Day Celebration, A Dream Rooted in Faith: The Legacy of the Black Church in Detroit During the Civil Rights Movement. Arts and crafts activities will be available throughout the day, along with a presentation on Dr. King’s name change and his leadership at Ebenezer Baptist Church. We’ll conclude with our annual tradition of singing Stevie Wonder’s “Happy Birthday” and sharing mini cupcakes in honor of Dr. King.
