Sunday December 13

2:00 PM  –  3:30 PM

This talk will explore the unique history of slavery and abolition in Detroit. From Native enslavement to the Trans-Atlantic slave trade, slavery wove itself through the everyday lives of 18th and 19th century Detroiters and continues to structure much of Detroit's collective memory today.
