Join the Detroit Historical Society for the 2025 Detroit Historical Society Ball on Friday, April 4, 2025, from 6 -11 p.m. at the historic Roostertail.
The evening will include dinner and drinks, along with our well-curated auction. Of course, it will be an opportunity to support the Detroit Historical Society’s mission and our ongoing effort to bring history to the next generation. Live music will hearken back to the era when the Roostertail was new and hosted the best acts in the country. Enjoy dessert and dancing to close the evening over the sparkling Detroit River.

Since its founding, the Detroit Historical Society has been dedicated to ensuring the history of our region is preserved so that current and future generations of metro Detroiters can better understand the people, places, and events that helped shape our lives.
Net proceeds from this event support our many educational programs, museum field trips, and learning experiences for all ages. It will also support our millage campaign efforts to ensure that Detroit’s stories are told for many generations to come.
