The night begins with a cocktail-forward welcome and a VIP Preview Party, followed by a plated dinner accompanied by jazz piano—setting the tone for a true Jazz Age celebration. During dinner and the program, guests will enjoy our well-curated live auction and the opportunity to champion the Detroit Historical Society’s mission and our ongoing work to bring history to the next generation.
At 8:00 PM, the doors open to The Speakeasy on the Promenade level—creating a seamless overlap between dinner upstairs and the start of the late-night celebration downstairs. The Speakeasy features live music, immersive entertainment, signature activations, and a dance floor that keeps the energy going through the end of the night. The silent auction closes at 9:00 PM during the afterparty.

All sponsors, guests, and ticket holders will enjoy an elevated evening experience featuring a black-tie gourmet plated dinner, fabulous cocktails, live entertainment, dancing, and valet service. Guests will also enjoy access to our auctions and fundraising moments supporting the Society’s mission.
The Speakeasy Afterparty-only tickets are available for $100, with entry beginning at 8:00 PM when The Speakeasy doors open.

Dinner choices: Red Wine Braised Beef Short Ribs | Chicken Florentine | Grilled Eggplant Vegetarian - All Entrées are Gluten-free. Dietary needs and allergies must be noted during registration; we will do our best to accommodate.
