Purchase tickets to visit the Detroit Historical Museum

Plan Your Visit
The Detroit Historical Museum is open Wednesday - Saturday from 10 am - 5 pm and Sunday 1 pm - 5 pm. Visitors can reserve tickets in advance or purchase tickets at the door.
**Please note, the museum is generally closed on major holidays, including Easter, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, July 4, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day, and will occasionally close for private events. Please see detroithistorical.org/visit for any changes to our regular hours.
Parking
The Detroit Historical Museum lot on Kirby St. (between Woodward and Cass Avenues) is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Parking is a $10 flat rate.
